Saffo-Tim Fisher
Having never met Paul Saffo or read any of his works, I feel somewhat out of my element by trying to describe how he would answer a question. However, I myself would be inclined to answer that technology shouldn't be outlawed, but merely advanced with caution. With every advancement in technology that improves our lives, our lives also take a turn for the worse. With this latest bit of DNA technology, sure our lives may be better protected from disease and criminals, but our freedom of privacy takes a major hit. Once we start surrenduring our freedoms, it is a long slippery slope that none of us want to go down.
