A Trail of DNA and Data

I believe when Saffo would answer a critic, he would state that he wasn't trying to say that technology should be outlawed. Just that even though technology is advancing, its not always the absolute best thing. Their can still be flaws and things that go wrong, that end up taking a turn for the worse in the end. With technology advancing and moving forward, in a lot of ways people are losing privacy in many ways.

Saffo has a really good point in his paper. He says that this technology is bad for keeping personal information because you can't change it when it gets stolen. You just can't go to the doctor's and tell them to change your DNA. Once that information is made public, then it is forever public. This technology would only make the situation even worse.

I think that the purpose of the article is more to inform the reader and get them thinking than to say technology is bad.
