Audience

My audience in this essay is the current students at Bowling Green State University. This audience is specifically suitable to my topic because my paper deals with policy's at their university. They would take the most from this essay because they know and understand the issues that arise on their campus. They would also benefit most from this essay because the issue directly effects them. Some strategies that I will try to employ in this essay is to use real life situations about events on campus so that the audience can better identify them selves with my paper.

Audience

The audience for my essay would be the faculty members that read the BG News. That is because my argument is that the BG1 card should be able to be used at more places off campus. This could also be an interesting topic for the students to read because than maybe more of them would say the same thing to the faculty. I used a more formal type of writing style to help reach the faculty members in a proper way. I have also directly addressed faculty positions in the essay to make it more effective.

Audience

My topic is whether residential BGSU students should be allowed to have pets other than fish in their dorm rooms. My audience is the general on-campus community, including students who live in the residence halls, the President of the University, and those in positions of authority. My essay is especially suitable for this audience because it effects every residential student, even those who do not wish to have pets, because they may have to deal with their roommates or neighbors having pets. Also, those in authority should know how students feel about the topic, and should consider the important points that I bring up in their consideration of this issue. One strategy that I use is to relate the issue directly to situations that students may find themselves in if they were permitted to have other pets on campus.

Audience

The audience in my essay is anyone who might be reading the BG News, particularly BG students. My issue, whether general education classes are a good or bad idea, is relevant to BG students because all BG students are currently required to take general education courses. In the essay, I plan to reach my audience by writing in such a way that I am on the same level as them and will try to reason through it as a BG student. It this way it will feel like they too are reasoning through it along with me.

Audience

My audience is the students that live on campus at Bowling Green because i feel that every student has a part to play in the safety of the community that we live in. I think that that my essay is suitable for my audience is because i feel that everyone on campus wants to be safe and need to understand the importance of campus safety. I feel that addressing the issue and unsafe practice of door propping is a way to open the minds of students that live on campus.

The Audience

The audience I'm addressing in my essay is the entire BGSU community. I think that everyone is impacted by the situation of opposite sex roommates. Everyone whether you're a student, professor, graduate, or just some who knows about Bowling Green would have a opinion on this topic. So I am addressing them because everyone will have a different feeling about what it is I have to say, and the issue of different gendered roommates.

Jeremiah Knox: My Audience

My paper is mainly geared towards those people who are interested in the Jena Six incident. Although my paper can be read by all, I guess that my paper is geared more towards civil rights activists that are interested in the Jena Six issue. My paper is good for this audience because it brings attention to issues that civil rights activists would be interested in. My paper is also appropriate for this audience because the readers could compare their ideas af the whole situation and then either argue my paper or change their view of the situation.

Audience

My audience is the president of BGSU, Sidney A. Ribeau. The reason for this, is because my topic is about overnight guest, who are the opposite sex. In my paper I try to persuade the president of BGSU into seeing that it is a good idea to allow opposite sex overnight guest. I show the good side of the issue, and how it will help with values for the future. Also, I show the problems other people might have with the issue, such as an RA or the president himself. Basically, I show both the pro's and con's of the situation. My best strategy is to show how he sets aside a whole weekend for our siblings, with events everyday, but yet he does not allow them to stay if they are the opposite sex.

Audience

The topic of my essay is downloading music. The audience would be all college students since most have Ipods or some form of MP3 player and they are the main age group that downloads free music. I think feel that downloading music should not be illegal. I talk about how college students don't want to spend money on a CD and there is no cost involved in downloading. I also mention why people think downloading free music illegally is wrong. I talk about how free downloading of music should be legalized and the reasons why it should be.

The Audience of my Essay

The Audience of my essay would be anyone who has a misconception about the Plan B Pill, or anyone who is just confused about what it really is. My essay talks about what the pill really does and who might have reason to want to use it. In my essay I was sure to talk about both sides of the argument, why some people might have a problem with it, and then why people dont think there is anything wrong with it. In my essay I am trying to show people what the pill really does, and why people should not think badly of women who might make the choice to use the pill.

My audience Essay

When i began my article i started off looking through both perspectives. My essay is responding to the growing amount of people who play world of warcraft, along with the amount of teens that completely degrade people for playing it. I found this topic interesting because i myself play this game, but not to the same degree many others do. There are two kids on my floor that are refered to as WoW nerds, and to me that is a completely unnecessary name. We dont go around calling people football nerds or guitar nerds when they are good at something do we? The audience i chose was teenagers on a college campus, to inform them that maybe because someone is playing a video games, doesnt necessarily consitute them as a nerd.

Another reason i chose this as my audience comes from the initial reaction i got when people found out I played wow. Students seemed interested at first but once i tried to explain to them what the game was about, it seemed like they shunned me for playing it. If i can convince at least a few people to watch how they respond to kids who play video games, i will have served my purpose.
My essay's audience is BG students. Since guitar hero is a growing thing on campus here as well as many other places, the audience could be any college students, but my particular audience is BG students. In my hall and many others here in BG, guitar hero can be heard many times throughout the day. I address my audience in an im-just-like-you way, using specific examples of the times of day that most students have in between classes when there is not enough time to start a homework assignment, but too much time to just sit around.
