Audience
The topic of my essay is downloading music. The audience would be all college students since most have Ipods or some form of MP3 player and they are the main age group that downloads free music. I think feel that downloading music should not be illegal. I talk about how college students don't want to spend money on a CD and there is no cost involved in downloading. I also mention why people think downloading free music illegally is wrong. I talk about how free downloading of music should be legalized and the reasons why it should be.
The Audience of my Essay
The Audience of my essay would be anyone who has a misconception about the Plan B Pill, or anyone who is just confused about what it really is. My essay talks about what the pill really does and who might have reason to want to use it. In my essay I was sure to talk about both sides of the argument, why some people might have a problem with it, and then why people dont think there is anything wrong with it. In my essay I am trying to show people what the pill really does, and why people should not think badly of women who might make the choice to use the pill.
My audience Essay
When i began my article i started off looking through both perspectives. My essay is responding to the growing amount of people who play world of warcraft, along with the amount of teens that completely degrade people for playing it. I found this topic interesting because i myself play this game, but not to the same degree many others do. There are two kids on my floor that are refered to as WoW nerds, and to me that is a completely unnecessary name. We dont go around calling people football nerds or guitar nerds when they are good at something do we? The audience i chose was teenagers on a college campus, to inform them that maybe because someone is playing a video games, doesnt necessarily consitute them as a nerd.
Another reason i chose this as my audience comes from the initial reaction i got when people found out I played wow. Students seemed interested at first but once i tried to explain to them what the game was about, it seemed like they shunned me for playing it. If i can convince at least a few people to watch how they respond to kids who play video games, i will have served my purpose.

My essay's audience is BG students. Since guitar hero is a growing thing on campus here as well as many other places, the audience could be any college students, but my particular audience is BG students. In my hall and many others here in BG, guitar hero can be heard many times throughout the day. I address my audience in an im-just-like-you way, using specific examples of the times of day that most students have in between classes when there is not enough time to start a homework assignment, but too much time to just sit around.

Essay continued
I forgot to add that my paper is suitable for the intended audience because it involves them. The adminsitration is the ones who are trying to eliminate the rollover plans and we, the students, are directly affected by the loss of money.
Essay
The directed audience of my paper is the BGSU administration and the students of BGSU. My essay discusses the expensive meal plans and how we should not be forced to purchase one and if we are forced to, our money should rollover. One way i paid attention to my audience was by citing a fellow student. Their opinion gives credibility to my essay and shows that most students are alike in the fact that we want more of a selection for food, some more healthy food, and our money to rollover to future semesters. Allowing the audience to take an active participation in the essay elminates some biases and keeps them reading.
