Highway System
Nixon presents much evidence that the highways are a problem. He states facts and figures, such as deaths because of the road system, that the amount of cars is going way up, and much more. He does a great job stating why the roads are a problem. The plan is supposed to solve the amount of deaths, reduce traffic, reduce travel time, provide parking, and most importantly, build the highways for 10 years into the future instead of the present.

I think everything you are saying is completely right about what Nixon was saying. he explains himself very well, and it seems like you understood exactly what he was saying
