Coffee shop

Since most companies are focusing on customer service, all that the employers of the coffee shops care about is friendly service with a smile. Other than the great product, good, friendly staff are believed to be the deciding factor in whether or not customers will come back or not. Because of this, it is important to maintain that image to complete sales and to encourage regular visits from customers.

I agree, you stated the main points about why companies don't want their employees to act like individuals, and i thought you were very accurate.

I agree that the companies focus on customer service and providing a great product. The staff does not need to befriend the customers rather just be cordial and give them a smile, that way there is no room for rude comments or mistakes that may turn the customers away.
