Response to Clark article

Clark adds her personal experience into this article to give her readers a firsthand example of how not having insurance can effect someone financially and emotionally. It is a more personal message than simply listing facts and statistics. It gives the audience an insight into the real situation and what is really happening regarding the topic of insurance. It also makes the argument more believable because the readers can actually see how unexpected circumstances can effect someone who does not have insurance.

I agree with this assessment, especially the part about it giving the audience insight into real situations. I believe that hearing how it unexpectedly happened to someone shows how it can happen to you too.

I agree that it makes the argument more beleivable because if anyone was just reading stats then it would have no effect or relation to the reality that anything could happen to anyone.
